Movistar Plus+ has once again been recognised at CANNESERIES thanks to one of its original productions. ‘I Always Sometimes’, created by Marta Bassols and Marta Loza, has been awarded Best Screenplay, written by the creators alongside Almudena Monzú.

The Cannes television festival will take place from April 23 to 28. Movistar Plus+ Original Series have also been showcased at other major European festivals earlier this year. ‘The Anatomy of a Moment’ competed at Series Mania, while ‘The Center’ and ‘A 100-Million Reward’ were featured at the Berlinale Series Market Selects.

The original Movistar Plus+ series, produced in collaboration with Fonte Film, has been honoured with a Special Mention by the jury of the Studio Babelsberg Production Excellence Award, in partnership with Berlinale Series Market Selects.

Directed by Alberto Rodríguez and written by Rafael Cobos, Fran Araújo, and Rodríguez, the series stars Álvaro Morte, Eduard Fernández, and Manolo Solo, and is produced by José Manuel Lorenzo in association with ARTE France.

El Centro and A 100-Million Reward, two original production from Movistar Plus+, have been selected for Berlinale Series Market Selects. Both series will be screened as part of the Berlinale EFM Schedule on 16 February, at 11:30h and 14:00h respectively, at CinemaxX 11 in Berlin.
