Four original series from Movistar Plus+ (Anatomy of a Moment, The Center, The Nameless and The Song) have been recognized at the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, announced during the festival’s virtual gala. The prestigious international competition celebrates excellence and innovation in global television and film storytelling.
Anatomy of a Moment received a Golden Tower in the Entertainment Program – Drama category. Set during Spain’s failed 1981 coup attempt, the political thriller stars Álvaro Morte (Money Heist) and is produced in collaboration with DLO Producciones, portraying three men who chose courage as democracy hung by a thread.
The Center, produced in collaboration with Fonte Films, also won a Golden Tower for Drama. The series offers an intimate look inside Spain’s National Intelligence Center, exploring loyalty, sacrifice, and the pressures of modern espionage.
The Nameless was awarded a Silver Tower in the Entertainment Program – Sci‑Fi/Fantasy/Horror category. Produced in collaboration with Filmax and based on the novel by Ramsey Campbell, the psychological thriller follows a woman whose life is shaken by an impossible phone call—seven years after her daughter’s disappears.
Finally, The Song received a Silver Tower in the Drama category. Produced in collaboration with Buendía Estudios and inspired by real events surrounding Eurovision, the series revisits a pivotal cultural moment through Massiel’s unexpected victory.
