'A True Legend: The biopic of Rocío Jurado' is a four-part documentary series about Rocío Jurado, an icon and cultural reference for generations in Spain and around the world.

She broke the stereotypes of the traditional Spanish folclórica artist to become a modern, free, and outspoken woman. Through previously unseen personal archive material provided by her daughter and narrated by Chilean actress and singer Daniela Vega, the series reveals the magnitude of Rocío Jurado. She embodies, at once, tradition and modernity, romantic submission and female empowerment, folkloric classicism and international sophistication.

Beyond the spotlight, this documentary gives voice to a woman who, from childhood to her final days, sought true love and happiness for herself and her loved ones.

The premiere of the series coincides with the 20th anniversary of her passing.
