José Manuel Lorenzo

José Manuel Lorenzo (Pontevedra, 1959) is President and Founder of DLO Producciones, a film and television fiction production company, a member of the Banijay Group, the world’s largest content creation group for television and multimedia platforms. He is also President of PATE (Productoras Asociadas de Televisión de España), Spain’s Television Production Companies Association. José Manuel Lorenzo is a Senior Industrial Engineer, who after a period as an engineer at the Trillo Nuclear Power Plant, decided to begin his journey in the world of entertainment, where he has continued for over 20 years. To make that transition, he studied Film and Theatre Direction at TAI and studied at San Diego State University (California) for a Master’s Degree in Television Marketing. During this time, he has held positions of maximum responsibility at the main television channels in Spain: General Commercial Director of RTVE, General Director of Publiespaña, General Director of Antena 3 – a position in which he revolutionized Spanish fiction – and General Manager of Canal+, as well as head of content for the Digital Plus platform at Sogecable. He has also been founder and Chairman of the Drive Group and founding partner and Executive Chairman of Boomerang TV. Starting in 2015 and for 3 years, José Manuel Lorenzo was president of the new channel Non Stop People. He has also been CEO of DLO/Magnolia, achieving numerous successes in the entertainment industry. In recent years, among his productions at the helm of DLO Producciones and CEO of Dlo/Magnolia are series, films, and programs such as: • LA CAZA. MONTEPERDIDO. 2019 Revelation series.
